Father and son

So, there I was in the Hygina island in Greece. Our guide had told us that there was this very important monument nearby, but we wouldn't be seeing it. So, I grabbed my camera and steped away from the group and went looking for that "important" monument. I had to walk for a while, had to go through the beach and through a pile of trash that was on the beach. All this to find out that the monument really was just a broken column - the only remains left from what used to be a temple. The worst thing was that I couldn't get to it because of a fence. Still, I managed to get a lame shot from the outside, standing on top of a rock on the beach. When I turned around I saw a young man with a hippie look taking a small kid into the water and starting to play with him. I immediately took one shot, and one shot only because I know that some people don't like to be photgraphed (and that's why I almost never take people's photos).
To tell you the truth, I'm pretty proud of this shot. It gives me a feeling of peace - peace of mind. Altought the setting is pretty depressing, with the garbage and all the decadence that I saw in Greece, these two fellas were really happy, and I am really happy to have been able to watch this moment and to have been able to capture it. And all thanks to the so called "very important" monument.
